Removing Y Pipe. After you have loosed the intercooler pipe clamps, loosen the large V-Band clamp which secures the Y pipe to the outlet of the compressor housing, loosen the 4 hose style clamps located underneath the Y pipe securing it to the intake plenums, and then remove the Y pipe. Take care not to misplace the rubber O ring which serves as a seal between the Y pipe and the compressor housing. Doing so will cause a large boost leak.
