With the lines disconnected and the bolts removed, the stock pump should now be able to slide back out of the timing cover. Note that the pump gear is a tight fit and it will take a bit of effort to get it to release from the pump and allow the pump to slide back. Work it back and forth slowly and evenly until the pump is free from the gear and the pump snout will clear the timing cover.
