With the factory hard fuel lines out of the way, and the high pressure oil lines connected, you can slide the pumps into place. They should set flush against the timing cover. Make sure not to damage your new HPOP gasket during this “lining up” phase of the installation or you could have oil leak issues. This is very important, take your time making sure the pumps are aligned and slowly slide them into the timing cover, always watching that the gasket is not damaged. With the pumps slid into the timing cover, start to tighten the allen head bolts supplied with the Terminator kit. These require a 6mm allen head socket and should be torqued to 25ft lbs. **NOTE: It is critical that these bolts be tightened evenly. This ensures that the pumps are aligned and tightened into the timing cover in a straight manner.** After the bolts are started into the threads of the timing cover and start to move the pumps forward and tighten them, alternate from side to side tightening only a half turn each time at most.
